I have just purchased and registered FlashFlip album today, 5-02-08. Version 1.8.407.1 and as soon as I try to change the settings in anyway or preview, it errors and closes.
If there is a latest version or updated version, please post a link to the page on your site where I can download the current version that works- I dont know where the page to download the current version is. I also sent jpg attachments to your support email of the error message.
I also sent information before about the bug in the trial version that caused a corner to disappear when flipping the page and your support team said the sizing was too large and you would fix it in the next release. I like the flipflash album so much and plan to use it for people to read text like a book. I create the text and background graphics with Photoshop Elements and upload as a PNG or JPG to the flip album. I hope that in the next version, we will still be able to have a large size album so it will be easier to read. Your album is the most functional and affordable item like this on the market.
Thanks for your report and sorry for our late response. Changing settings operation alway may not shut down the program, could you please tell me which setting cause the issue. Please help me to answer the questions below: 1. I can add pictures to the album? Yes No 2. I can click preview button to view the album? Yes No 3. My previous version is running Ok? Yes No 4. I can change the settings without previewing? Yes No 5. After changing the settings, the window closed when I click preview button? Yes No
It is working ok now! I downloaded the demo you sent me, and now the registered version works ok. Another small bug- sometimes when previewing- the back or front page will stick and leave a shadow- it may be because I make the settings large. I will send an email jpg of the shadow. If you need me to send jpg screen captures of the settings for this bug- just let me know. Thank you so much for your patience and response :) !
